Introducing Elive-assistant, on-demand AI features in Elive

When I wrote this tool, almost only openai existed, while @triantares complained a lot about the use of openai by default because of its privacy concerns... during that time, the tool evolved in many ways, supporting more features and also providers.

For me using openai was simply useful, easy, direct, and very handy, mostly used to "voice-to-text"... yesterday I got fucked up by this company who steal my money, I still had around 12 usd in credits but they removed them entirely because money is like food, "it expires"... Some companies do that (like envato) which i find totally unnaceptable, my money is my money and they don't have the right to steal it. Then I did a small research in google to see if the company do that and found that many people had thousands of dollars in credits lost, omg.

Anways, openai is the worse AI company, because of this and other things that we have seen during the time. So im personally not going to use it again, never.

Just to note that "elive-assistant" is more like a prototype tool (but extremely useful) and is going to continue evolving, but the real goal is a nice E27 widget with all the features tested before, more handy, more gui, better.

Hi!

Isn't the way should be some Open Source LOCALE AI assistant with CONTROLLED access to the web and tuned with local hardware possibilities..?

Ih!

N.B.: & thanks again for your works! :ok_hand:

As was the internet bubble at the time ..... the AI bubble WILL similarly burst eventually, taking down enormous sums of money with it .... wait for it. :w00t:
