I think that zettlr is the one to keep an eye on.
It looks very promising.
Frankly, it makes ghostwriter look like a child's toy but does take a little getting used to.
For serious writing i think I'd opt for zettlr. 
but ghostwriter is simply "everyone's friend", so I agree: Include ghostwriter by default.
