This is an idea in development, an extra candy feature for Elive 
, it will be available for all premium users and offered as a gift for a specific case im not going to reveal it yet

Nice idea, and a weather widget would be nice too, I miss it from 3.0.6....

To improve what is already the best in Linux Elive OS would be Evil and losing the e at the end' Ah' I see the play on words and name game and no wonder Elive OS is better than All the Rest.

+1 from me, a clock is the only thing I really miss having.
Premium users has already access to the actual (working) source code 
is not yet packaged or anything but can be compiled on its own, so if you wanna try it just read the instructions here: https://github.com/Elive-Premium/desktop-gadget-clock (note: if you are premium, you must be logged to access to it)
