Can someone recommend an old macbook to try Stable Elive. I already have installed Elive beta in my MacBook Air 2017 (dual-boot). Improved a lot since last update. It works perfect for what I do.
But I thinking to buy an old laptop because I really want to try again the eye-candy features of the Stable version.

Yeah, I recently had a very old machine and played the version 3.0.6 on it, it runs really smooth 
The main issue is the graphic card, that machine was not a bad one but the graphic card was a generic intel which was well supported, but let's say any computer that has around 10 years old should work, I personally don't know exact models... the best is to try 
in the moment to buy a machine you can just ask to try to boot from a USB because you need to run that system if you buy it (I do this test all the time, also to verify the correctly working hardware)

End of 2019, I installed version 3.0 stable on my old but faithful late-2007 Macbook. It worked like a charm.
Im still trying different models on different shops.
