this is a feature from the appimages themselves, i mean, the application itself that asks for that
which makes me thing that the "sandbox" (security) feature is not very secure since they can simply write in your system being sandboxed or not

Strange thing, but don't we launch them with --no-sandbox anyway? But at least some of 'em ask...
By default no, but a question is give to the user asking if wants to run it without the sandbox (so, by default is sandboxed)
