I get different CPU clock speed reports on one of my old Dell laptops from Windows 10 and Elive. What is going on?
This is from the Bios correlates with the Win10 report
This is from inxi -c
Use "inxi -xC" for more specific CPU readings like what each core does.
Clearly the Win10 output just reads out what the firmware/BIOS says whereas inxi does a probe to the current specs too.
