Hello!
I honestly think that ctrl + space should not be among the default shortcuts for the applications launcher. That's the default shortcut for auto completition in most IDEs!
This means that everytime some not vim user (i'm sorry @Thanatermesis i'm not ready to do the switch yet despite your awesome work with it... bad habits are hard to kill) does a new installation needs to remember to change the e16keyedit 
And most of the times the reminder comes up when he presses control space to do some auto completition in VS/Colab and the application selection pops up!
