Supposed I received a download link for 2.9.97
What is the right way to download the new version ? The same link will give access to the last DVD and USB link ? Or I need to fill out the form again to request a download link of the last iso ?

That depends of how much are needed donations for the project, so this “delay download” is a way to enforce users to made even a small donation, which is the way to keep the project alive
Sometimes the link works/point to the new isos, a good way to know is to look at “last version number” which is shown in the delayed-download page
