I cannot figure this one out. The letters 'fi' as in firewall or firefox would be replaced within synaptic as a phone; not a modern cellphone but one of those museum pieces you'd find at your yard sale or flea market. I tried changing the font, too, with an application type or terminal font. I don't think the font size can fix it either. But thankfully it is not a showstopper -- just an annoyance. I assume you configured your system with a font on which the "fi" is assigned to something that looks like a phone? otherwise if this is default in elive, im pretty confused lol
