This is a stem splitting ai plugin which can separate music into different tracks. I’ve been trying to get it to install, but I am not skilled enough yet. I downloaded the following folder (TAR) which I have extracted, but I can’t get it to install. …l_openvino_toolkit_debian10_2024.6.0.17404.4c0f47d2335_armhf ..I have no idea if I have downloaded the correct thing.
Yes, the next time experiment whilst booted up in 'impermutable mode' ... that way you can always reboot back to where you came from.
As for the messed up repositories ...... you can probable go back to the original ones by simply reinstating them.
So don't panic!
Given what the openvino page says, it only added their repository to the existing ones. So the easiest way is to remove the the offending repo : sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/intel-openvino.list
then run the "apug" command.
After which reboot into said impermutable mode and do your experimenting there whilst keeping notes (or photos) of what you're doing so that you can replicate the correct steps once you get a good result.
BTW, 'openvino' looks to be a full AI /LLM environment, actually quite impressive ... so it does a lot more than only separate audio....meaning it either works remotely on their servers or it will put a (too) heavy toll on your machine if operated locally.
Your X250T does not have a GPU or NPU so will not work.
There might be other/better online options available out there.
It looks like the 'snap' option might work as the pluginyou expect it so try that (in impermutable mode first)
I found another option on line. I'm only splitting one song at a time so it doesn't make sense to have it on the machine. As you say it's old. I've signed up for a professional splitter and I get enough free to split 5 songs which will keep me occupied for months.
I decided to use the opportunity to install the latest version of Elive. I downloaded the file last night I shall create a bootable disc today and install it.
