Beside MorphOS, on the iMac G5, you can too install Yellow dog Linux, or other PowerPC-able Linux..!

Today I found a very interesting site about
how-to install AMD64 Linux images on for 32-bit EFI Macs ( Intel Macs - late 2006 models)
Actually more worth than just a look....
Methinks also kinda inspiration for Elive / @Thanatermesis ;
in the past we already had several options to boot an Elive image , for today am not sure ,,,
