Maybe a bug - sound issue @2 sources

source1: vlc playing the old stuff via uPnP from synology
source2: YT video voa firefox current - actually playing video w/o sound

whenever I skip the video a little by using the mouse, the line in the enlightenment mixer "playback" settings is gone for the moment i skip and the vlc sound is playing far louder

So you are using E24? what about in E16 and using the mixer provided in the applications menus?

Another option is to install with the option "no pulseaudio", so it will use also instead and you can select which audio card to use, but can be less versatile
