I tend to shy away from google freebies as it generally means that everything you put up there, gets owned by them. 
That's not a good thing in regard to privacy, business and creative ownership let alone copyright (or left).
So do I, but nothing else came to mind.

As my workload seems to be diminishing at last (and reinstated back-ups of my dead SSD) ..... it looks like I will be able to invest some time and decided to bump up this thread again.
Going with what's been written we need:
- A GTK web-widget at a fixed size (done)
- A slider show to complement the install procedure.
- Python code to run the sh based installer code, preferably inside or next to the GTK widget.
- But first and foremost: a clear vision on how this is supposed to look like overall.
