Hello, I have a laptop with a sentelic touchpad. Elive seems to manage it as a mouse with movement, but I have to click the buttons to make it work, there is no tap or other gestures.
I'm on the latest 3.8 edition, xinput shows the touchpad being found but Settings Touchpad says no touchpad detected

The sentelic mouse is being correctly detected by linux and xorg is using the synaptics driver to manage it.
I have enabled multi-touch in an /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/70-synaptics.conf file and it all works properly.
The touchpad config utility still does not recognise the sentelic touchpad and reports no touchpad present.

Could you expand on the machine spefications?
And .... Is this 32 or the 64 bit version?
This is 64bit installed to disk.
