The era of Linux is coming, the user base has grown around a 500% in the last year and I expect it to be more than a 2000% for the next one (2000 compared to this actual year, so 4 times bigger than actual userbase)
Big things are going to happen to the Linux world... I think that more than ever, Elive should focus not only in all that has already reached (a perfect and solid working base for everything) but also being more serious about privacy, spyless OS, telemetry, etc. topics to be more considered as a serious OS replacement, not only for users but also for enterprises, schools and govs.
I agree but, on that note we should take into consideration that the current theming and desktop layouts (especially retrowave) do not have serious enough vibes.
Methinks the "less is more" adagio is needed there.
Maybe something to aspire creating with E27+.
On a sidenote:
I have some serious doubts on those figures there and actually have the impression Linux use is declining.
I haven't seen the video (I don't do Meta) but I suspect those figures are derived from to the number of downloads, not actual proven use.
But, of course everyone is free to believe what they want be true.
