No, you still do not understand:
The option is 'multitouch' or 'mutouch'.
There is no functional difference between the 2 from what I see, except 'mutouch' seems to cater for different firmware. So I do not need 'multitouch' at all.
The removal of 'mtrack' is merely collateral damage when installing 'multitouch'.
I have no idea why 'mtrack' actually gets removed but is ultimately of no importance. Just keeping it installed together with 'mutouch' will do fine.
