since I have a 1gb netbook, surfing youtube is not a good idea.
Are any apps like 'SMTube' available on elive, so I can search for the videos there and then play them in VLC player.
I know I can paste links directly into VLC, but that means going on the browser and navigating youtube to get them - not a good idea on a 1gb ram machine.
So I'd love some kind of youtube browsing app.

SM Player is in the repostory.
But you can download smplayer_19.1.0+2.1.deb
and smtube_18.11.0+2.1.deb from opensuse.
Google for it.
After downloading doubleclick the .deb file that you want to install.
The rest is self explaining. Enjoy
