lol its on the other computer aside
mmh, not convinced
we are 99.999999% of the time already connected (and so we don't want an ugly gadget to always shown on the desktop, and specially we don't want it consuming resources if we don't need it)
the rest of the time is -when- we need to connect to internet
after apug, the wifi selector is already included in your menu (settings) so should be enough
Yoda is cairo dock excited
I now have my date when mousing over the time on the dock
If someone find a way to edit the Weather AddOn to change for our local weather, let me know... didn't find it yet
lol
what is fun is that we can DETACH the AddOn ( weather, time) to put them where we want on the screen !
it should close cairo-dock
yes
then automatically open in on E reload
no
BUT!
after logout/login
after logout/login

At least for me, you ?
i7, 16 GB RAM, SSD drive
you probably did not OpenGl switch on -
or you have not installed all from the meatpackage...
it is very handy even on a slow 32bit machine with 1GB RAM.....
Where do I look to see if I have it or to fix it ?
in fact, anybody searched / tried other candidates?
apse dock
TIP: do "api stuffs" from Live mode, you won't mess your system and you can play with it as much as you want
Synaptik: "cairo-dock"
Then when it starts
(for the first time - and later unless you did not click on 'dont show anymore')
ENABLE OpenGL !!
somebody with Cairo Docker, do you still have e16 Pager ? I don't see my virtual Desktop anymore
ya I do still have that ugly stuff on top of my screen
logout / login
I installed through the command line using @Thanatermesis commands
And I did click yes I want open GL.
Tks though... the speed is not that bad
weel, he is also only a human (still, lateron become a God, may be )
the xfce addition is defenility wrong.
look at my answer there is to see what you need
YOu mean that if I install though synaptic it'll work better ?
How To Install Cairo Dock And Add It To Autostart At Login
apt install gnome settings daemon
...then (for making sure that you snatch all depending packages cairo dock may need)
synaptik
cairo-dock
install
NOTE: Make sure that you also install:
cairo-dock-gnome-integration-plug-in
and
cairo-dock-dbus-plug-in-interface-python
When it comes to the dialog box asking:
"activating OpenGL" ? = Yes and keep the decision
.... then if you want to add Cairo Dock to autostart at login (very useful):
killall cairo-dock
apug
echo "cairo-dock" >> "$HOME/.e16/startup-applications.list"
eesh restart
then
logout
login
= done
