or you have not installed all from the meatpackage...
it is very handy even on a slow 32bit machine with 1GB RAM.....

...then (for making sure that you snatch all depending packages cairo dock may need)

NOTE: Make sure that you also install:
cairo-dock-gnome-integration-plug-in
and
cairo-dock-dbus-plug-in-interface-python
